Our mission statement is not meant to be an explanation of a new mission, but rather a local application of the command that our Lord gave to us as he ascended into heaven:

And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go, therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Mission statement:
Missio Dei exists to join God in His work: restoring the lives of His people, their families and their communities to Himself through His Son Jesus Christ. We've been called to share the Gospel with all people so that they may come to a living faith in Jesus, invite them into the full life of the Church, and go back out together, full of the Holy Spirit into our schools, communities, and careers fully equipped to make disciples and continue in God's work in making all things new.
